84. Jahrestagung der Deutschen Geophysikalischen Gesellschaft

FOSSGIS-Konferenz Münster

The aim of the annual conference is to promote free and open source software for geoinformation systems and open data. It brings together users, developers, researchers and interested parties meet here to exchange ideas about applications, work and further development opportunities as well as the latest developments in this field. The focus is on web mapping, geodata infrastructures, geodata management, geoprocessing, geodata analyses and modelling, desktop GIS and free geodata such as OpenStreetMap. Topics such as digital sovereignty in connection with open source are also covered, as are open science and the FAIR principles.

Interdisiplinary eLTER Science Conference

In 2025 we will host a joint NFDI4Earth and NFDI4Biodiversity back-to-back Plenary as a community event from 22–25 September 2025 at the University of Bremen and MARUM. NFDI4Earth kicks off with its Plenary on 22/23 September, followed by a joint session on 23/24 September featuring poster sessions, a software marketplace, workshops, and more.
