Integration of Advanced Software Technologies

Our Mission

We support the integration of advanced software technologies with the NFDI4Earth community by investigating, assessing, and improving new technologies that enable complex analysis of large Earth System Science (ESS) data. Our focus is on "data cube technologies for gridded data" and we provide best practice guides, support pilot studies, and enhance existing open-source solutions to promote the adoption of FAIR principles and common standards in the community. Through close collaboration with pilot projects and community-driven open source projects, we aim to generate a best practices guide to implement common standards for data cube technologies and enhance existing open-source solutions to support NFDI users.
