FAQ

I have an RDM problem and need help. What should I do?

We have a central helpdesk with different experts. You can just write an email (helpdesk@nfdi4earth.de) or use this form https://nfdi4earth.geo.tu-dresden.de/helpdesk.

I would like to initiate an Interest Group. What should I do?

Great. You might check existing Interest Groups first and then read the guidelines on how to initiate such a group.

I am a Participant and need general information on how to interact with whom or need support to manage contracts and formalia. Who can I ask to get detailed information?

The Coordination Office facilitates all organisational activities.

I need access to the NFDI4Earth project management tools. How can I manage this?

The Coordination Office manages user logins for all PM tools (SharePoint, OpenProject, RocketChat).

Here you will find an overview of the project management tools.

OVERVIEW

How should I cite the whole project in a scientific publication?

The recommended citation or reference for the whole project is:

How should I acknowledge received support in the context of NFDI4Earth in publications?

Please apply the following template to all outputs of NFDI4Earth activity: preprints, articles, software, data, presentations, posters, slides, etc. Thanks!

Acknowledgements Template

All outputs from NFDI4Earth should be directly identifiable as such and support the discovery of NFDI4Earth-supported results by including the following text in an acknowledgement section within an article, in descriptive metadata (e.g., in data repositories) or in documentation (e.g., in a software's README file). Following the template facilitates monitoring of outputs. Please replace the placeholders for task area and measure. For synergetic works, the TA and/or Measure may be omitted or extended as necessary.
